Basketball Season is right around the corner

This is an initial post to let you know we're thinking about basketball already, and hope you are too. This blog will be a place we post lots of stuff about basketball for LCHS Ambassadors.

Just a few items you can be praying about:
1) That this year's teams would demonstrate the love of Christ.
Our greatest desire is that there be unity within the ranks of both the boys and girls teams. We pray that God would mold us together, and that we could show the world we are Christians by our love for one another.
2) That God would lead us to the right place to have our practices and games.
In previous years we've been at First Baptist Church in Fort Myers. It has been a good place to use for basketball, but at the same time it has been a financial strain for us. We may return there again, but are also looking at other options.
3) That our schedule would work out well.
We want as many young men and women to be able to play as show interest in
basketball. We're investigating the possibility of having two boys teams. This
would mean extra games against other teams besides our FCAA opponents. Our FCAA commissioner is working through some changes this year as well. We hope to
have this all worked out by the time the season starts.
4) That God would provide funds for us to be able to function well as a team (both boys and girls).

We will try to post information that is pertinent as we finalize it.
